    Embarking on a journey towards smart money-saving practices is a valuable endeavor, and at CouponBall, we deeply appreciate the resourcefulness of high school and college students who frequently devise ingenious and intelligent money-saving methods. Their expertise often offers valuable insights for everyone.

    Our Smart Savings Scholarship is a tribute to these inventive ideas. Every quarter, we award $500 scholarships to three exceptional students across the United States who can answer the following question: What’s the most innovative method you’ve employed to save money?

    Saving money can encompass a multitude of scenarios:

    1. Strategies developed to save for college, a car, prom, or any personal goal.
    2. Plans crafted within a club or organization to optimize budgets.
    3. Your most effective tip for securing deals or discounts during shopping excursions.

    To participate, craft a concise essay (250 words or less) sharing your money-saving tip and illustrating how you’ve successfully saved money. Our editorial team meticulously evaluates each submission and selects three recipients whose advice is the most helpful, unique, and creative, awarding each a $500 scholarship.

    Application and Scholarship Details:

    • Your submission should detail the best and most unique money-saving strategy you’ve personally employed.
    • Present your tip in written form.
    • Utilize the submission form at the bottom of this page to enter.
    • Submissions are assessed based on the novelty and usefulness of the techniques described, as well as the quality of creativity and writing.
    • Your tips should be universally applicable and beneficial to students in any geographical location.
    • Submit your tip via the form on this page by March 25, 2022.

    Three $500 scholarships are extended to deserving students. Recipients will be publicly announced on April 8, 2022, and will receive notification via email. Scholarship awardees have a two-week window to claim their scholarship. The $500 scholarship will be disbursed within one week of the recipient’s claim, either directly to the recipient or their respective college or university, in accordance with school scholarship requirements.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • You must be currently enrolled in a U.S. high school, college, or university.
    • High school students must be aged 13 or older, and individuals under 18 require permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate.
    • You must be a U.S. citizen.
    • College students must provide a valid .edu email address when submitting their application.
    • By submitting your tip, you grant CouponBall permission to share your advice through a blog post or other promotional channels.
